The Rental Scheme
The rental scheme is run by Interentals LDA, our own on-site company.
There are a number of reasons for using our on-resort team:
- Rentals are promoted and sold in conjunction with the golf course and with the Marriott Hotel and so receive extensive marketing and promotion across Europe.
- 250 contracted golf Tour Operators and Leisure Operators worldwide which utilize the properties on the resort
- Member of the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO).
- Rental income credited in owner’s current account monthly
- Cost-free rental system for owners
- Utility costs covered through the year
- Covered condominium costs
- Current Account management offered to owners
- Resident Service offered to owners
The programme run by Interentals has some basic requirements:
- The property is to be equipped and in good condition to meet minimum requirements specified by Interentals
- The property has to be inspected and approved by Interentals
- Rental contracts with owners begin on the 1st January and are valid for two full calendar years
- A minimum lead-time notice of 3 months is required from owners wishing to join the rental programme.
There are no costs involved in joining the programme, provided that your property meets the required standard.
During the rental period, all running expenses regarding renting out the unit, namely cleaning, laundry, water, electricity, gas and small repairs/maintenance will be paid for by Interentals, except during owner’s occupancy.
You are entitled to 6 weeks usage per year, which is allocated to 1 week in period C, 2 weeks in period B and 3 weeks in period A. You may also exchange their week in period C for 2 weeks in period B or 3 weeks in period A, additionally, you can also exchange a week in period B for 2 weeks in period A. Interentals can also buy the week in period C at the rate applicable to ad-hoc rental.
Should you wish to have more than 6 week’s usage you will be charged a percentage of the applicable fee for that period.
In comparison to many rental schemes, Interentals knows that you are on holiday and that everything should be geared to making it a simple and stress-free as possible. For example:

The cost of renting is dependent upon the property taken, the length of time that you hire the property for and at what time of year you hire. The table below outlines the costs:

With regards to the prices, please note that:
- High Chair – Prices quoted are per day.
- Extra Bed – Prices quoted are per day. Maximum one extra bed per unit is allowed.
- Pool Heating (available in some villas) – Prices quoted are per week.
- Meals – Prices quoted are per person, per day.
- Continental Breakfast – Served at the Club House of Praia d’ El Rey.
- Buffet Breakfast – Served at the Hotel Marriott Praia D’El Rey.
- Half Board – Either buffet or set menu with 2 choices, including: starter, main course, dessert, coffee. Drinks are not included. Vegetarian alternatives are available - please advise when booking if this is required.
- VAT and all taxes are included

Football – The rental prices include the use of the pitch and related infrastructures.
A security service can be provided at an extra cost of €16,00 + VAT per man / hour. Tennis – Prices are per person.
On arrival you will be given a rental pack which will outline all of the services available, where they can be obtained and key contact details.
We want renting a property at Praia D’El Rey to be as simple as possible, after all, it is your holiday, and as such everything is straightforward.
- Check out time is 10am and check in time is 4pm – though out of ours service can be arranged on an individual basis.
- There are minimum stay periods:
Villas - 3 nights
Apartments and townhouses – 2 nights
However during the Easter period, the minimum stay is 4 nights for all properties.
- Maid service 5 times per week
Access to Fitness Centre comprising outdoor & indoor heated pools, gymnasium, sauna, steam room & spa bath (subject to availability and applicable fee). - All properties comprise:
Central heating, hob, oven, fridge, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, toaster,
dishwasher, clothes dryer, hairdryer, DVD player and satellite television with access to free to air channels.
- On check in, all clients are required to pay on checkin a security deposit of €250,00. Cash, cheque or a credit card imprint is acceptable.
- Pets are not allowed unless previously agreed in writing.
